One of the main reasons for gamers to move to Windows 10 was the support for DirectX 12, and it is the better API. I’m not entirely sure why Bend Studios opted to use DirectX 11 instead of DirectX 12. But for now, I can’t comment on HDR support with Days Gone. That said, with Auto HDR support coming to Windows, perhaps this will finally be addressed. In this instance, the colors were washed out and make the game look worse. Finally, the beast machine was connected to a 3440×1440 ultrawide monitor with maxed settings, and it cranked out 100-120 frames per second – even with a screen full of freakers. At maxed settings with V-Sync and motion blur disabled, it was averaging between 60-70 frames per second, sometimes more. For the second PC, I targeted 4K60FPS as this machine is connected to my 4K TV, and I mainly use it as a 4K gaming/HTPC machine. You can change the config but I hope that if it comes to GOG that's fixed. So I found it very odd that I could only go forward into a wall. The controls for turning or shooting are not. Example: The bike controls only have accelerate and brake assigned.

Using a DS4 the game on Steam has not mapped certain functions to it. The problem for me has been the controller. Playing on Steam now and it's mostly a good port.
